EUN is Euskalit Pick for New Framework Comparison

Framework targeted at shifting the dial on digitalisation and Industry 4.0 from an Advanced Management insight.

Euskalit was set up by the Basque Government and leading organisations in Euskadi to foster excellence in private and public organisations. It started off by adopting the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model, a pioneering initiative in Spain that gave Euskadi global recognition. Over time, Euskalit developed an ‘improved EFQM’, the Advanced Management Model (MGA).

It recently pinpointed aspects such as equality, customer relations, knowledge management and cybersecurity as being increasingly important and firmly linked to advanced management. What should Euskalit do with this information?

Euskalit’s response was to prepare Advanced Management Model-Aligned Management Frameworks, i.e., a ‘hybrid’ between the MGA and these aspects of such importance today.

The latest framework it made is the Framework for Shifting the Dial on Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 from an Advanced Management Insight.

The content of this framework was rolled out by Euskalit and Mondragon Unibertsitatea following the MGA structure. The digital transformation is driving the appearance of new business models and new services, process automation and the use of new technologies, reducing and even eliminating traditional resources (paper, cash, etc.) and boosting a greater use of data and information. []

Euskalit is looking for advanced management companies with a clear focus on digitalisation and considers EUN the ideal candidate to trial a comparison with this new framework in 2021.

The comparison will take place at EUN’s central facilities in Beasain on 15 December 2021.
