EUN and the National Museum of Peru begin the third phase of a conservation project

EUN continues its collaboration with the National Museum of Peru (MUNA) in the third phase of an ambitious project aimed at improving the conservation and storage of its valuable collections. This iconic museum houses a vast range of objects and pieces of art that require special attention for their preservation.

In this new phase, EUN has addressed the specific needs of several areas of the museum, including documentary and bibliographic collections, photography and film material, as well as painting, sculpture, and furniture. Work has also been done on the textile deposit, ensuring that each type of piece receives the appropriate care.

The solution proposed by EUN focuses on the installation of mobile shelving systems and customized storage solutions. This includes shelving for medium loads and palletized heavy loads, as well as vertical mobile shelving systems for the art gallery. Additionally, systems with trays for looms and cantilever systems for rolled elements, such as fabrics, have been implemented, ensuring the proper conservation of these works.

This project is a clear example of EUN's philosophy of working closely with its clients, seeking specific solutions that foster long-lasting and productive relationships. Ongoing collaboration allows EUN to better understand the museum's needs, resulting in effective and tailored solutions.

With these initiatives, EUN reaffirms its commitment to the preservation of Peru's cultural heritage, contributing to MUNA's status as a benchmark in the conservation and exhibition of its rich heritage.
