EUN completes the implementation of archiving and conservation solutions at the ASTA Building of the Port Authority of Barcelona

EUN has successfully completed its involvement in the second phase of the rehabilitation of the ASTA Building, owned by the Port Authority of Barcelona.

The project focused on adapting spaces for administrative services and for the conservation of archives and heritage works.

The scope of work included the design and installation of a comprehensive solution for the storage, organization, and management of documentation and heritage materials, with particular emphasis on large-format paper documents. To this end, an electronic mobile system was integrated to optimize storage capacity, improve accessibility, and contribute to more efficient and secure management of the collections.

As part of the project, EUN premium-range equipment was installed, including:

  • 620E Electronic Mobile Storage System – Premium
  • 610 Storage System – Premium
  • 210 Hanging System
  • Plan chests / flat file drawer cabinets for drawings and large-format paper documents

With this project now completed, EUN strengthens its track record in projects where building rehabilitation is combined with the implementation of advanced storage and records management systems, particularly in institutional environments with heritage preservation requirements.
