We are ready for GSBO2! 

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the long-awaited GSBO2, an event that promises to be enriching for professionals in the library, archival, and museum sectors. For three days, participants will enjoy a varied program that includes presentations, forums, and practical workshops, as well as virtual visits to reference facilities in the sector.

The event will kick off on February 18, 2025, with activities focused on the library sector, featuring prominent figures such as Carmen Echeverría from the Public University of Navarra, Jairo Hernán Díaz from the Quindío University of Colombia, and Dr. Jorge Eduardo Peña Zepeda from the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, who will share their knowledge and experiences.

On February 19, the focus will shift to the archival sector. Renowned speakers such as Elizabeth Ruiz Guillen (NR Finance Mexico), Alexandre Porta Tallant (Government of Catalonia), Juan José Lucio (Banorte), and Gisela González Flores (Judicial Power of the State of Mexico) will give talks addressing the current challenges and opportunities in archive management. 

Finally, on February 20, the museum sector will take the stage. Experts such as Nelly Giovanna Faustino Bambarén from MUNA (National Museum of Peru), Julia Molinar from the University Museum of Contemporary Art, Licda. Katherine Bucktron Sánchez de Olle from the Ministry of Culture of Panama, and José Luis Valverde Merino from Spain’s National Heritage, Royal Collections Gallery, will share their vision for the future of museums and their role in contemporary society.
