EUN maximises useful space of Spanish Senate repository

This solution to renew the Spanish Senate’s repository efficiently delivers on the project’s different baseline targets with the 610 and 620 Storage System from EUN. The requirements consisted of: maximising the useful storage space, ensuring optimal arrangement for good preservation and, in general, modernising this repository for the conservation, storage and safekeeping of the historical bibliographic collections.  

Our ad hoc solution ensured perfect spatial and architectural usability, providing the space with over 2,000 linear metres of storage to considerably scale up the previously available space. The 610 series was also fitted with customised ventilation and electronic locking systems for the thorough conservation of bibliographic funds of immense historical value.
