EUN, speaker at the Euskalit Awards event for its success story in 5S implementation
EUN took part as a speaker at the "Advanced 5S and Kamishibai Practices" event held on May 16 at the Zamudio Technology Park, after being selected to share its success story in the implementation of the 5S model.
This forum recognizes organizations that have progressed or maintained their standards in this methodology, and serves as a space to exchange best practices among companies of all kinds.
In our case, the recognition came for achieving solid implementation across all company sites and departments. While many organizations focus on applying the methodology in specific areas such as warehouses or offices, EUN has managed to extend the 5S approach throughout its entire structure, making it a part of our operational culture.
Our ability to conduct remote audits was also acknowledged, such as those carried out at our site in Mexico and in Beasain during the pandemic in 2020 — a rare practice that demonstrates the robustness and reliability of the implemented system.
During the presentation, digitalization was highlighted as a key factor in the successful deployment, with emphasis on the use of collaborative digital tools that help centralize information, facilitate access, and provide visibility of results.
The talk also underlined how EUN’s mission — focused on efficient space management — naturally aligns with the principles of 5S, enabling the integration of this methodology into our corporate culture.
